Air Fryer Chicken Wings

When I think about chicken wings, I think about serving them at a Super Bowl party or ordering them at a bar while watching a sporting event on TV there. They’re not always the easiest thing to make when trying them at home. Well, that is, until you try to make chicken wings in the air fryer.

The process for making these wings is so simple that this isn’t going to be a very long article at all. The only variable will be if you have to adjust the cooking time based on the size and thickness of the chicken wings or if you want to change up the seasonings according to your taste preferences.

You may want to add a favorite sauce for dipping. Or sides that typically go with buffalo chicken wings, such as carrot sticks or celery sticks. I find them to be the perfect palate cleanser in between bites.

Now, toss the wings to ensure they are coated evenly.

Once the air fryer has preheated, go ahead and arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook the wings in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Place the air fryer basket in the preheated air fryer and cook the chicken wings at 400°F (200°C) for 15-17 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The chicken wings should be crispy and golden brown. They may have shrunken from cooking. That is perfectly normal.

Once cooked, remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Again, serve with your favorite sides or sauces.
