  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or another high smoke point oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken wings to a large bowl.
  • Next, add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and mixed herbs.
  • Shake the wings in the bowl to mix the seasonings around.
  • Drizzle the avocado oil or another high smoke point oil over the chicken wings.
  • Toss the wings to ensure they are coated evenly.
  • Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the chicken wings at 400°F (200°C) for 15-17 minutes.
  • Halfway through the cooking time, flip the chicken wings.
  • When cooked, the wings will be crispy and brown and may have shrunked a bit. That's perfectly normal.

Notes

Add a favorite sauce for dipping. Or sides that typically go with buffalo chicken wings, such as carrot sticks or celery sticks.
