Owning an air fryer means continually blowing my mind at what you can make in it. Yes, of course you can make food like French fries. But I’ve also discovered that using the air fryer is one of the best ways to reheat lasagna — and pizza, too. In addition, making baked potatoes in the air fryer is much easier than in the oven. And with an air fryer, you can enjoy corn on the cob year round without lighting the grill or boiling a pot of water.
Now comes this recipe for making smores in the air fryer. Again, not something I would have ever considered until I tried it. And now that I have, I love that I can enjoy s’mores year round, indoors with my family when we have family game night or binge-watching the latest streaming series on Netflix.
In fact, if I ever give someone the same air fryer I have as a gift, I’m going to include this recipe. Then, I’ll wrap up the ingredients you always need for smores:
Finally, while researching this recipe, I discovered that some people use these same ingredients not to make smores sandwiches but rather a s’mores dip. And then you dip other cookies in the dip for a graham cracker, marshmallow-y, chocolate-y delicious dip. That just might be on my next holiday menu to try during dessert.

Ingredients Overview

Step-by-Step Instructions
Line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil. Break the graham crackers in half, so that they are even squares. Place them on the aluminum foil in the basket. Then, put the marshmallows on the bottom halves of graham crackers.

Place in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 350 F or until it has reached your desired temperature and depending on how melted or roasted you like your marshmallows. Remove graham crackers and marshmallows from the air fryer.

Break the chocolate bar in half, so that they are even squares. While the marshmallows are still warm, place the chocolate bar pieces on top of the marshmallows.

Place the top graham crackers on your smore to make it a s’more sandwich. Enjoy!

Notes
This is a recipe designed for two people to snack on these smores. If you’re making them for more than two, clearly you need to double or triple the ingredients.
Depending on the size of your air fryer basket, you may need to make s’mores in a few rounds, if you can’t fit more than a few graham crackers in it at once.
If a full square of chocolate is too much on each s’mores sandwich, you can break the chocolate into individual pieces. This is if you prefer fewer pieces of chocolate in your s’mores. That’s not me but you do you.
We used some of the extra-large marshmallows that you can buy these days. But regular sized ones will work, too. And, if you’re in a jam and only have mini marshmallows, you can try them as well. They just might fall out of the s’mores sandwich or off the graham crackers when you take them out of the air fryer. Just be warned.
